McKINNEY, TX—An Eastern European-inspired town center development in McKinney has received $24.9 million for the construction and permanent financing of St. Paul Square, a 211-unit apartment community in the project.

The 45-acremixed use town center, Adriatica Village, will have details inspired by a trip the developers took to a fishing village in Croatia, including hand-carved fountains, cobblestone and a bell tower, reports the Dallas Business Journal.

Developers plan to break ground on the development within the next week.

The project's attention to detail will give residents and visitors the illusion the town center has been there for hundreds of years, said Laura Saull-Smith, senior director at Washington, D.C.-based Love Funding, who arranged the $24.9 million loan.
