BOCA RATON, FL—The March 1 deadline for the National Association of Real Estate Editors' 63rd Annual NAREE Journalism Competition for real estate and home and design writers and editors is around the corner. The work of staff writers, freelancers, columnists, bloggers and editors published, posted or aired in 2012 can be entered.

The NAREE competition includes categories in the broad field of real estate include topics from mortgage finance, foreclosures, commercial and residential real estate to green building, urban redevelopment, home design and remodeling, among others. The competition is open to entries published in daily newspapers, weekly business newspapers, trade, investment and shelter magazines, commercial real estate publications, wire services, television, radio and web sites.
