FRANKFURT—Grainger is expanding its German management team with the appointment of Sebastian Cave as joint managing director of Grainger Deutschland GmbH. The appointment follows the company's recently announced partnership with global real estate investment firm Heitman to invest in German residential property.
Cave will work alongside Peter Brock and will be based in Grainger's German head office here. Previously, Cave held the position of director of corporate development at Grainger, based in London.
Brock and Cave will be jointly responsible for Grainger's German business. This new appointment provides additional management level resource and will allow Grainger to focus on developing further business opportunities in the German residential property market while also driving continued performance, building on the good work done by Mr Brock and his team in Frankfurt to date.
“We have considerable confidence in the German residential market," says Grainger chief executive Andrew Cunningham, "and we are committed to driving performance in our German business and to leveraging our very strong German asset management platform to explore opportunities for future growth. Sebastian's appointment as Joint Managing Director, working alongside Peter Brock, will strengthen our management team in Germany at this important point in the evolution of our business.”
