SAN DIEGO-Those who follow @GlobeStcom on Twitter and @GlobeStLIVE may have seen a post teasing the announcement, but GlobeSt.com has learned that Missions at Sunbow has changed hands for $90 million.Cushman & Wakefield's multifamily advisory group led by Ed Rosen and John Chu facilitated the transaction between the seller, Equity Residential, and buyer, R&V Management.

According to Chu, “At $90 million, the sale price of Missions at Sunbow reflects the strength and continued growth of the Chula Vista and South San Diego multifamily market.” The 336-unit apartment community is located at 825 East Palomar St. in Chula Vista, CA.

Missions at Sunbow was built in 2003 and features one, two and three bedroom apartment homes on just over 14.5 acres. The property offers amenities including a clubhouse, barbeque grill and picnic area, fitness center, swimming pool and spa, a movie theater, garages and covered parking. Unit amenities include central heating and air conditioning, private patios and balconies, fully-equipped kitchens, walk-in closets and in-unit washers and dryers.

The property is located just east of Interstate-805 and has great accessibility to all of San Diego County. Additionally, the property is just a 15 minute drive to downtown and 20 minutes to the beaches.

The apartment community is also located near shopping centers including the Plaza at Sunbow and Westfield Plaza Bonita.
