CHICAGO, IL- The industrial park in suburban Elk Grove Village attracted quite a few new tenants in 2012, and 2013 has also started off well. RelaDyne, Inc. has just signed a lease on a 76,430 SF lease on an industrial warehouse at 2250 Arthur Ave.

The Cincinnati-based company, a fuel distributor and provider of industrial lubricants, was formed in 2010 from the merger of four firms based in the Midwest and Gulf Coast regions. RelaDyne now has a national profile and recently established a wholesale division. The new facility will bring more than 50 jobs into Elk Grove Village.

The landlord, Cabot Properties, was represented by Avison Young's Michael Fonda, principal, and Todd Heine, director.

The loss of United Airlines, which began moving its headquarters from Elk Grove Village to Chicago's Willis Tower in 2007, has not stopped a stream of companies coming in to what remains one of the largest business parks in the country. On Feb. 13, for example, the Daily Herald reported that “Creative Werks LLC, a candy packaging company presently operating out of Bensenville, is relocating to a 254,000-square-foot building on Brummel Drive between Busse Road and Lively Boulevard within the village's industrial park.”

Like many companies, RelaDyne was attracted to the park due to its proximity to O'Hare and active rail lines, which the firm requires for bringing in bulk oil containers. This warehouse was first constructed in 1964, but the landlord replaced the roof in 2009. RelaDyne has said they will move into the building within weeks.
