Las Vegas Global Business District Unveiled

LAS VEGAS-Plans call for the Las Vegas Global Business District—the Convention Center and surrounding area—to be developed in phases over several years.

LAS VEGAS-Those who follow @GlobeStcom on Twitter and @GlobeStLIVE may have seen a post teasing the announcement, but GlobeSt.com has learned that the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority recently unveiled its plans for the Las Vegas Global Business District, an overarching vision for the Las Vegas Convention Center and the surrounding area. Plans call for the Las Vegas Global Business District to be developed in phases over several years.

The first phase, over the next two years, will include programming and design, the development of overall budget, improvements to the current space at the Las Vegas Convention Center and land acquisition, according to a prepared statement.
