IRVINE, CA—On the heels of a successful 2012 with the sale of nearly 40 new homes in Orange County, Melia Homes is poised for the housing rebound with the recent purchase of another four land parcels. According to Melia Homes' President BJ Delzer, the privately held, niche builder is actively pursuing land deals throughout the Southland and has recently secured new home development opportunities in Costa Mesa, LaVerne and Stanton.

Focused on both entry-level and move-up single-family developments that generated more than $22 million in 2012, Melia Homes will unveil new communities in 2014 on 11 lots on Costa Mesa's Westside and 12 lots on its Eastside, in addition to 17 lots in LaVerne and 15 lots in Stanton.

Explains Delzer, a 22-year veteran of the real estate development industry, “Evidence of our commitment to pursuing land opportunities is the acquisition of these four parcels in just the past 60 days. With substantial financial capacity, our land acquisition team is eagerly looking for further opportunities to fulfill our business plan. Our vision is to develop both attached and detached product ranging from the $400,000s to $1 million.”
