SAN FRANCISCO—Jones Lang LaSalle says that Will Loftis, a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in project management has joined the firm's San Francisco office as a vice president, where he will lead the firm's Northern California healthcare practice in Project and Development Services.

Loftis joins JLL from the San Francisco office of SmithGroupJJR, where he served as Design Principal and Project Manager in the firm's healthcare studio and was responsible for the proposals for St. Luke's replacement hospital, and public space around the Cathedral Hill Hospital. Loftis also drove the architectural design effort during a design-build competition for Alameda County's Acute Tower Replacement Project at Highland Hospital in Oakland.

“Will brings a wealth of expertise in design and project management across a broad range of commercial projects as well as medical facilities and is exactly the type of insightful professional we were looking for to lead our specialized services for healthcare clients in Northern California,” said Elizabeth Hearle, JLL's Market Director for the Pacific Northwest

Before SmithGroupJJR, Loftis was Office Director for the San Francisco office of Boston-based architectural firm ADD, Inc. Over his 30 years career span, Loftis has worked across Northern California, Boston and London, where he was Project Manager for one of Olympia & York's Canary Wharf developments.

“Like the rest of the country, hospital and healthcare networks in Northern California are in the midst of significant facility realignments related to SB 1953 and the Affordable Care Act and JLL is a highly reliable and experienced partner with the ability to balance quality, risk, cost and schedule in order to achieve the key goals of delivering projects on time and on budget,” said Will Loftis.
