220,000-SF Shopping Center Hits Ground Running

WARSAW, Poland—Central Europe, the first development in Poland combining a mall with a retail park, was opened March 1, attracting more than 100,000 customers for the weekend.

WARSAW, Poland—Europa Centralna, a 220,000 square foot (67 000 m2) shopping center in Silesia, southern Poland, is now open.  More than 100,000 customers attended the opening weekend, March 1-3 for the first phase of the project developed by Helical Poland. The project is a joint venture with clients of Standard Life Investments.

Europa Centralna (Central Europe) is a regional shopping development, located at the interchange of the A1 and A4 motorways in southern Poland and an estimated 5 million customers within a one hour drive.
