CHICAGO, IL- Franczek Radelet PC, a law firm specializing in labor, employment and education law, has renewed its lease of 36,113 SF at 300 South Wacker in the West Loop. Two years ago, the firm actually expanded their lease to its present size, resisting the tendency of many downtown tenants to consolidate operations in the face of the economic downturn. The 512,350 SF building now has a vacancy rate of about 10 percent.
Melissa Rubenstein and John Beacon from Jones Lang LaSalle represented the owner, an affiliate of Virginia-based Harbor Group International, in the negotiations, and Tony Karmin, Corby Marx and Michael Marrion of Transwestern represented Franczek Radelet.
The firm was founded in 1994 and now has 50 attorneys.
“We are looking forward to continuing the growth of our practice right where we started nearly 20 years ago,” said Ronald J. Hein, Jr., Franczek Radelet's managing partner.
“For a tenant to stay in one building for nearly two decades truly speaks to the extremely close relationship that has formed between owner and tenant,” said Jim Vallos of Harbor Group. “We look forward to being their landlord for many years to come.”
