BREA, CA-Standard Pacific Homes has opened Paseo at La Floresta, a collection of luxury two-story townhomes in the mixed-use master-planned community of La Floresta, currently under development here by Birch/Kraemer LLC. The area's first new townhome community, the complex offers three designs that showcase the developer's all-new architectural concepts.

“We are delighted to introduce our all-new Paseo townhome designs,” said Ted McKibbin, Southern California coastal president for Standard Pacific Homes, in a prepared statement. “Home shoppers will enjoy the openness of the home designs and how the townhomes feel like single-family homes.”

The townhomes feature inviting front courtyards and exterior styles influenced by early California architecture including Spanish Romantica, Rancho Adobe and Monterey styles. Interiors showcase great rooms that flow into gourmet kitchens equipped with stainless-steel appliances, slab granite countertops and islands. Master suites offer sizeable walk-in closets, abundant storage and private master baths. Ranging from 1,518 square feet to 1,867 square feet, the townhomes feature up to four bedrooms, three bathrooms and two-car garages and start in the $400,000s. Proposed amenities for La Floresta include a swim-and-play club, acres of open space and miles of walking, biking and meandering trails.

Nearby entertaining and dining options include Brea Mall, Brea Union Plaza and the Birch St. Promenade. The community is also located 20 miles north of John Wayne Airport and near the 57 and 91 freeways.

As GlobeSt.com previously reported, Jamboree Housing Corp. broke ground in October 2012 on Birch Hills Apartment Homes within La Floresta. The $26.2-million development will provide housing for families who earn between 30% and 60% of the area median income, with rents ranging from $502 to $1,427 per month based on family size and income level, and will consist of 115 garden-style apartment homes.
