Motocross Racers Let Loose on Empty Floors

CORONA, CA-Talk about going big or going home. Construction is now underway on the new corporate headquarters for Monster Energy Co., and as those who follow @GlobeStcom on Twitter and @GlobeStLIVE may have seen, the action sports lifestyle is reinforced in every square inch of the new space—Before furniture and fixtures are installed, motocross racers were let loose on the empty floors to race through the interior and create skid marks on the concrete. Interior architecture firm, H. Hendy Associates plans a July 2013 scheduled completion for the six-story 140,000-square-foot building here. The building will facilitate 500 workstations and 175 private offices, “accommodating the company’s growth for at least five years.”

Monster purchased the large commercial space in September 2012 and will be its first-ever occupant. GlobeSt.com was not able to get further information regarding the details of the purchase by deadline.
