CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ–The Boy Scouts of America has acquired a 14,000-square-foot industrial/flex building at One Saddle Road here to serve as the new headquarters for its Patriots Path Council. The deal was orchestrated for the BSA by Bussel Realty Corp.

The property was purchased for an undisclosed price from Olof & Elaine Erikson. Steven Bussel, president of the brokerage carrying his name, represented BSA and Newmark Associates represented the seller.

The one-story industrial/flex property is to be completely renovated for BSA's corporate headquarters.

“The Boy Scouts required quality office space at a strategic location with easy access for employees and visitors,” says Bussel, whose company is based in Edison. He said the Cedar Knolls property in a neighborhood filled with corporate offices and close to downtown Morristown was ideally located.

There is nearby access to Route 287, 202, 10 and 24.

Bussel Realty provides leasing and sales brokerage services to tenants, corporations, landlords, owners and investors, representing more than 1 million square feet of property and tenant client assignments annually.

Currently, the company is handling more than 3 million square feet of corporate and industrial real estate in New Jersey.
