NEW YORK CITY-The 2013 Brooklyn Real Estate Summit hosts TerraCRG, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and aptsandlofts.com have announced the latest group of speakers confirmed for the full-day conference scheduled for Thursday, May 9 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). The event will include panelists who are active in Brooklyn's residential, commercial, retail, development and cultural projects.

“The Brooklyn market probably is one of the most interesting markets in the world right now because of how it's growing after the recession,” Ofer Cohen, founder and president of TerraCRG, a Brooklyn-based CRE brokerage and advisory firm, tells GlobeSt.com. "Many investors are looking at, or in, this market."

Confirmed speakers thus far include keynote address provider Jed Walentas of Two Trees Management, Kas Sanandaji of The Lightstone Group, David Kramer of Hudson Companies, David Von Spreckelsen, of Toll Brothers, Katie Dixon of BAM, Paul Travis of Washington Square Partners, Arik Lifshitz of DSA Property Group, Jeremy Salzberg of Sugar Hill Capital Partners, Daniel Benedict of Benedict Realty Group, Paul Salib of Castellan Real Estate Partners and more.

Panels throughout the day will include topics ranging from arts and entertainment districts driving development, strong retail corridors, Brooklyn's hotel development boom, most active multifamily buyers, and residential development in the borough.

This is TerraCRG's second year presenting the Brooklyn Real Estate Summit, which hosted more than 400 attendees last year. This year's summit will focus on the changing Brooklyn landscape, the rising skyline and correlating rising property values.

“The last year was truly a banner year for Brooklyn on every front, from the opening of the Barclay's Center to the dynamic residential market that's continually setting new benchmarks,” says David Maundrell, founder and president of aptsandlofts.com, a privately owned real estate brokerage, in the announcement. “The 2013 Summit will provide an opportunity to celebrate these achievements, while setting the stage for an in-depth discourse on what's to come.”
