NEW YORK CITY-Cushman & Wakefield announced Friday that John Alascio has joined the firm as managing director in the equity, debt & structured finance group and will be responsible for covering the greater New York and New Jersey markets. He was previously a SVP at Oberon Securities, a boutique investment bank.

“John's broad background in real estate and structured finance will serve as a valuable resource to our clients,” says Fred Harmeyer, senior managing director and regional head, US capital markets–east.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Alascio spent the last 10 years in commercial banking and investment banking, primarily focused on real estate financing. He also founded and served as managing partner at Greenwich Strategic Capital, which provides consulting services to companies in various industries, including real estate.
