The "Great Recession" of 2008 – 2009 produced a bumper-crop of extraordinarily talented, accomplished, and, independent real estate consultants. Collectively they were (and still are) among the best and the brightest talent who were caught-up in the challenges of a dislocated job market. The conundrum that these professionals experience is how to deal with medical insurance coverage and other benefits that are standard for "employees".
