HONOLULU—An affiliate of the Honolulu-based real estate private equity firm BlackSand Capital is selling some of its condominium units in the Maile Sky Court hotel in Waikiki to a Delaware-based company MSC Owner.

Aqua Hotels & Resorts, which manages the 596-room budget hotel, notified the state last week that BlackSand affiliate KOHI Investments LLC is selling the properties. This according to a report in the Pacific Business News.

KOHI bought the majority of the hotel condominium units at the Maile Sky Court, along with the budget hotel's front desk and commercial space, in late 2011.
