LOS ANGELES-Scott Meredith will join Johnson Capital as a Sr. VP in the company's CenturyCity office, the firm announced.
Meredith will be arranging debt and equity financing for commercial real estate owners and investors. He has arranged over a billion dollars in commercial real estate financing through structured, bridge and construction loans during his career.
Before joining Johnson Capital, Meredith was at Granite Commercial Capital, a capital markets advisory firm, which he founded in 2009. He also was a former director at George Elkins Mortgage Banking.
“Having a senior finance professional with Scott's level of experience join Johnson Capital is a real win for our firm,” said Cliff Cames, President of Johnson Capital, in a statement announcing the appointment. “It is consistent with our plan for Johnson Capital to grow revenue and market share by recruiting and retaining top-tier talent.”
Johnson Capital provides real estate financing services, including debt placement and acquisition financing for permanent loans, construction financing and property repositioning. In addition, it arranges joint venture equity placement for individual assets, portfolios, entities and discretionary funds.
The company's transactions have ranged in total funding from $1 million to over $300 million and include multifamily, office, retail, industrial and hotels. Since its inception in 1987, Johnson Capital's aggregate transaction volume has surpassed $36 billion.As
