CHICAGO: Bradford Allen recently announced that they had been selected to handle leasing for 220 Remington Blvd. in Bolingbrook. The 80,000-square-foot brick building, first constructed in 1988 and rehabbed in 2000, has had its troubles. A few years ago, it was fully-leased to UniCare, a health insurance company, but they vacated the building when their lease ran out. Crain’s reported in 2009 that the company then left the state due to “competitive pressures.” And, citing public records, the Daily Herald later reported the property was in foreclosure.
Recently bought by a private investor, it has signage visible from I-55 and a parking ratio of eight spaces per 1,000-square-feet and a footprint of 125-square-feet per person, attributes Bradford hopes will attract prospective tenants. The owner also hired Bradford to act as the property manager.
