CHICAGO/SAN FRANCISCO—Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB), has named two new principals—Sheyla Conforte, and Tim Stevens. Conforte and Stevens will to continue to grow the firm's interior design and higher education practices, respectively.

Since joining the SCB's interior design practice in 2005, Conforte has helped to double the team and projects in size. Her extensive portfolio features a range of projects in all of SCB's major practice areas, including corporate office, higher education and law firms. In the last year, Conforte spearheaded significant corporate designs, including the United Airlines lounge at Heathrow International Airport in London as well as the Walgreens corporate renovations in Deerfield, IL.

“It's an incredible opportunity to continue the momentum of our growing interiors practice,” said Conforte. “I am honored to join SCB's leadership and be part of shaping the firm's future.”
