Runway" Officially Takes Off

LOS ANGELES-A $260-million mixed-use project officially breaks ground this week. The project will develop one of the last huge undeveloped land plots in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES-Ground was officially broken this week on a $260-million mixed-use project that will transform one of the last huge undeveloped land parcels in Los Angeles.

The project, called “Runway,” is being developed by Lincoln Property Co., Phoenix Property Co. and Paragon Commercial Group. The team announced Whole Foods (taking a 35,755 square foot space), CVS Pharmacy, Veggie Grill and Cinemark as the first tenants, taking up about half of the 220,000 square footage allotted for retail. The Cinemark multiplex at Runway will feature nine screens in over 46,000 square feet and will have 3D capability, self-serve concession stands and an open plaza with a cocktail lounge.
