CHICAGO-Transwestern's Chicago office recently announced they will add Vice Presidents Katie Steele and Cody Sundberg to their office agency leasing team. Steele joins the firm from U.S. Equities Realty and Sundberg comes from Bradford Allen Realty Services.
“As we continue to build and grow our downtown Chicago leasing team, we are seeking high caliber talent, and we found that in Katie and Cody,” said Michael Lirtzman, executive vice president and head of agency leasing in the Midwest. “Their experience closing deals and representing some of the city's top landlords adds even greater strength to our team and positions us for further growth.”
As vice president at U.S. Equities, Steele led their leasing efforts at 737 North Michigan, 939 North Avenue, 676 North Michigan and 150 East Huron and was a member of the leasing team for 515 North State. In the last six years, she completed more than 135 transactions. Some of her clients have included UBS Realty Investors, Principal Global Investors, Alecta Real Estate Investment and Omni Hotels Corporation.
Sundberg served as managing director of brokerage asset services at Bradford. Previously, he was senior vice president at Cawley Chicago Commercial Real Estate. Sundberg has completed more than 1.5-million-square-feet of office and 3-million-square-feet of tenant rep, flex and industrial transactions. Some of his clients have included KBS Realty Advisors, Lexington Realty Trust, Mars Equities and Stonecreek Properties.
