Chicago Executive Airport Gets New Hanger

CHICAGO- Morgan/Harbour Construction will construct the hanger, including office space, by this summer.

CHICAGO- Morgan/Harbour Construction has just announced that the firm was selected to construct a 21,000-square-foot hangar at the Chicago Executive Airport in northwest suburban Wheeling.

“This will be the second hangar we’ve constructed at Chicago Executive Airport,” says Warren Seil, president of the Woodridge-based Morgan/Harbour. “We look forward to again working with the Village of Wheeling and Prospect Heights, and the Chicago Executive team.” The municipalities purchased the 411-acre airport in 1986. Approximately three hundred aircraft use the field regularly and about 200,000 take-offs and landings occur each year.
