TUALATIN, OR—Outdoor retail giant Cabela's Inc. will open its first Portland-area store in 2014—in Tualatin's Nyberg Woods retail district, in Washington County.
Nebraska-based Cabela's is working with landlord CenterCal Properties of El Segudo, CA, to develop the 100,000-square-foot building that will house its hunting and fishing gear store, says the Portland Business Journal. The parties are shooting for a fall opening. It will be the second Oregon store for Cabela's, which has a Springfield location.
A prior attempt to locate in Oregon City failed to materialize
