BAYTOWN, TX—On the heels of Governor Rick Perry's Illinois business recruiting trip, an industrial company from the Land of Lincoln has purchased 24 acres near Houston for a distribution facility.

National Tube Supply, University Park, IL, is a distributor of carbon and alloy mechanical tubing, with a second location in California. The company has acquired 24 acres of industrial-zoned land at Bay 10 Business Park with plans to develop a 100,000-square-foot distribution facility, according to a report in the Houston Business Journal.

The master-planned business park spans 220 acres in Baytown, near major distribution hubs and eight miles north of the Port of Houston.
