CHICAGO- TOMY International has decided to relocate its North American headquarters from 1111 W. 22nd St. in west suburban Oak Brook to Arden Realty Inc.'s nearby Commerce Plaza, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, which represented the toy manufacturer and marketer in their lease negotiations. The company, which sells products under brand names such as Chuggington, Pokemon, Dinosaur Train and John Deere, will occupy 24,649-square-feet at the new location, slightly smaller than the space they previously leased.

Todd Schaefer, a senior vice president with JLL, represented TOMY. JLL's Jeff Shay, Bruce Renwick and Karla Harmon, along with Laura Quayle, Arden's senior portfolio leasing manager, represented Arden, an office platform of GE Capital Real Estate.

Randy Peltier, TOMY's vice president of marketing, technology and operations, says that moving to Commerce Plaza will give employees a more open, creative and technologically-advanced work environment. The 555,000-square-foot building, located at 2015 Spring Road, includes on-site food service, conferencing facilities, a fitness center and on-site property management.
