ATLANTA—April saw plenty of commercial real estate executive musical chairs. From brokers to directors, commercial real estate pros are settling into new positions across the Southeast.

NAI Hallmark Partners in Jacksonville, FL hired Carmen Mantay as a broker focused on sales and leasing of medical properties, professional office buildings, land, and international investments. The Chilean-born Mantay will also serve as international director for the firm. She comes to NAI from Coldwell Banker Commercial.

CBRE|Raleigh hired Tom Fritsch as managing director. Fritsch will oversee all of the firm's commercial real estate operations in the region. He succeeds J.D. “Butch” Miller, who remains with the firm as a broker and principal. He is the president-elect of the NAIOP Triangle Chapter and brings more than 20 years of experience to the firm.

Carter hired Charles Bonds as vice president of development. In his new role, Bonds will provide equity development project management, with an emphasis on design and construction. Bonds joined Carter from C.D. Moody Construction Co., where he was a project manager. He will work on the $38 million Highland Square project, a 753-bed off-campus student housing development at the University of Mississippi, as well as several new equity development projects scheduled to start in 2013. He will focus on target markets for Carter, including Michigan, Texas and Atlanta.

Robert Waldron has joined Marcus & Millichap's National Golf & Resort Properties Group as a sales associate and Investment Advisor. Waldron is a golf and hospitality industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience. He has held management positions with firms such as Marriott Corporation, Legg Mason Real Estate Services, and Billy Casper Golf.
