CHANDLER, AZ-General Motors LLC has entered into an agreement with Newport Beach, CA-based Mark IV Capital Inc. for a 170,000-square-foot build-to-suit office building at the 40-acre Chandler Freeway Crossing. Upon completion, the project will house GM's Information Technology Innovation Center, which was announced in early March 2013.

Dave Seeger, Karsten Peterson and Mark Detmer (formerly of Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc. and now with Jones Lang LaSalle) represented Chandler Freeway Crossing owner Mark IV Capital in the transaction. General Motors was represented by Mark Collins of CBRE out of Detroit, and Mike Conner and Chris Hook of CBRE Phoenix. Wes Balmer of the Balmer Architectural Group is the architect of record on the project. A spokeswoman tells GlobeSt.com that completion of the building is slated for May 2014.

Chandler Freeway Crossing is a business park at the northeast corner of Loop 101 and Freeway 202. It also houses the 60,000-square-foot North American headquarters for ASML, which will soon be completed, as well as the Phoenix operations of Smart Modular.
