MINNEAPOLIS– Beacon Investment Properties, LLC announced this week that it has chosen both Jones Lang LaSalle and Cassidy Turley to handle leasing for the iconic IDS Center. The firm acquired the 57-story office tower, Minneapolis' tallest, just last month for $253 million. JLL will lease the tower, while Cassidy Turley will lease space in the Crystal Court retail plaza.

The new owner will also retain Jim Durda, the vice president and general manager of IDS Center for the previous owner, Inland American. He has overseen the 1.4 million-square-foot landmark, designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson, for the last 19 years.

Jon Dahl, senior vice president, and Brent Robertson, vice president, will head JLL's team and Andrea Christenson, vice president for Cassidy Turley, will lead their team. Cassidy recently relocated its Minneapolis headquarters to the IDS Center.
