NEW YORK CITY-If there are problems in the industrial sector of commercial real estate, then they weren't apparent at the recent SIOR Spring World Conference earlier this month in Indian Wells, CA. A partnership between SIOR and GlobeSt.com called SIOR LIVE put us right in the middle of it.

For two weeks before the show, we interviewed key members of the organization to anticipate what to expect at the Spring World Conference and what is happening in the market. For the most part, the message was one of optimism.

As part of SIOR LIVE, we conducted video interviews with several top-level executives from around the country. You can view the full list of videos here. Some of them included:

We also covered the educational sessions offered during the conference. In fact, GlobeSt.com Editor John Salustri gave a spirited keynote speech on how politicians aren't all that interested in the commercial real estate industry and only care about themselves.

Consultant Ralph Spencer told us the best ways to recruit top talent in the commercial real estate industry. Former Disney exec Doug Lipp talked about how even the most successful companies in any industry can't rest on their laurels.

We look forward to continuing our SIOR LIVE coverage later in the year when the organzation hosts its Fall World Conference in Chicago in October. Contact Scott Thompson at [email protected] about how your firm can participate in this program.
