WHITE PLAINS, NY-Members of Westchester County's commercial real estate industry gathered on May 2 to honor Forest City Ratner Companies and Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center at BOMA's 22nd annual hall of honor awards dinner. The two honorees were recognized for their contributions to Westchester's economy. The annual dinner was held at Abigail Kirsch at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown.

Forest City Ratner built the 1.3 million-square-foot Ridge Hill retail complex in Yonkers, a mix of boutiques, national retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues. The complex opened in 2011. The 136-bed Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center was established in 1987 by the Sisters of Charity. It was founded to provide specialized medical and rehabilitative services to medically fragile children with complex clinical conditions and disabilities. The center has evolved into a multi-location $65 million healthcare organization.

In addition to the hall of honor awards, commendations also were presented for the Best of BOMA Signature Awards, recognizing excellence in property management. The awards and their recipients were: signature building team of the year, Reckson Metro Center, 360 Hamilton Ave., White Plains; owner/manager: Reckson, a division of SL Green Realty; creative real estate deal of the year, Manor House, 100 White Plains Rd., Tarrytown, NY; architect/owner Dennis Noskin; and comeback building of the year, 2500 Westchester Ave., Purchase, NY; owner/manager, Normandy Real Estate Partners.
