NEW YORK CITY-The New York office of Cresa has announced that Christopher Hagerup joined the firm as vice president on the office's brokerage team. In his new role, Hagerup will be responsible for new business development as well as lease negotiations and project-specific market analysis for clients in the New York metropolitan area.

The hire marks Cresa's second such addition in recent weeks. The tenant representation firm announced on May 1 it had brought on Robert Sattler as VP. He previously was with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

Mark Jaccom, president and managing principal, says of Hagerup in the appointment announcement, “Chris comes to our team with a background in tenant representation, and can view the market from the perspective of a company, its key decision makers and its employees,” says “Chris is a natural fit for our office and immediately adds value.”

Before joining Cresa New York, Hagerup worked for the tenant representation group at Jones Lang LaSalle in Washington, D.C., where he was involved with a number of transactions, ranging from headquarter relocations to lease renewals. Prior to that, Hagerup worked at CoStar Group.
