HOUSTON-McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. has hired Robert Elliott as project director for commercial projects in the company's local office. In his role, Elliott has oversight of project teams to coordinate and integrate estimating, scheduling, value analysis, construction planning and project implementation. He also will attend key project team meetings during construction and supervise on-site project staff.
Elliott has spent is close to 23 years in the construction industry developing strong team relationships on complex Houston projects. In total, he has participated in more than $1 billion of completed construction projects in Texas and Louisiana. Prior to joining McCarthy, Elliott served as a vice president and project executive at JE Dunn Construction Co.

Robert also has extensive experience on a variety of projects, adding even more depth to McCarthy's team in Houston.”
Elliott earned his bachelor's degree in construction science from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. He is an alumnus of Leadership Houston Class XXVII, earned a 30-hour certification from Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and has a building construction license for the State of Louisiana.
