CHERRY HILL, NJ-Markeim-Chalmers Inc. has brought in experienced commercial office and industrial real estate broker Jeff Arnold as a principal for its Philadephia metropolitan area team. His responsibilities will include sales, leasing and commercial investment acquisitions.

“This is a very exciting time here at MCI. We've not had a new team member for about 3 years and it reflects a positive sign that the commercial real estate market is beginning to turn around,” said MCI's president Fred S. Berlinsky.

Arnold joins MCI after nine years as director of leasing, construction and planning with Brandywine Realty Trust in Mount Laurel, NJ, and Broker of Record for Brandywine Realty Services. In his career of nearly 25 years, Arnold has also been a partner at Pureland Industrial Complex, Smith Mack & Co. of New Jersey, and Logan Center Partners. He was an office leasing broker at Cushman & Wakefield and vice-president of real estate lending at two commercial banks for 10 years.

Cherry Hill-based, founded in 1922, MCI is one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage and property management firms in the Philly metro, and serves retail as well as office and industrial markets.

The company handles property sales and development, acquisitions, property management, appraisals, consulting, tenant representation, tax advisory and investments.
