PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Realty Partners has completed several office leases in downtown Philadelphia, including the expansion of Reliance Standard Life Insurance to 138,000 square feet at Two Commerce Square.

At that building:

  • Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, a global law firm, expanded and renewed its long-term lease, taking 18,000 square feet.
  • Goodell DeVries Leech & Dann will relocate from One Commerce Square, signing a long-term lease for 7,500 square feet. Joe Fetterman and Bob Manekin of Colliers, International, represented the tenant.
  • Reliance Standard expanded to 137,663 square feet on five floors. Pete Talman of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the company.

At One Commerce Square:

  • Resources Connection, a staffing consulting firm, will relocate from Two Commerce Square and take 4,600 square feet. Tom Weitzel and Patrick Grenko of Jones Lang LaSalle were tenant representatives.
  • The Colleran Law Firm, a Philadelphia-based personal injury law firm, will relocate from the Girard Building, leasing 5,600 square feet.

At 1835 Market:

* Zajac, Arias and Trichon, the law firm, took 7,400 square feet, with Pete Shrier of SSH representing the tenant.

  • PRWT, the business services firm, renewed and expanded its long-term tenancy for 13,026 square feet, represented by Brian Edmonds of Concordis.
