SAN DIEGO-Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., in conjunction with Illumina, Inc., a world-leader in genetic sequencing, have completed Illumina's global headquarters in San Diego. The project comprises an approximately-497,000-rentable-square-foot life science campus with additional onsite ground-up development opportunities aggregating approximately 393,000-rentable-square-feet.

“Illumina worked closely with Alexandria to design our global headquarters with collaborative open spaces throughout the campus to foster continuous innovation and teamwork,” said Illumina's president and CEO Jay Flatley. “Our culture and campus environment are key to fostering our continued growth, helping us attract and retain top talent.”
