SANTA CLARA, CA-Those who follow @GlobeStcom on Twitter and @GlobeStLIVE may have seen a post teasing the announcement, but GlobeSt.com has learned that DataDirect Networks, a provider of scalable Big Data and Cloud storage solutions, has relocated to 50,500 square feet at 2929 Patrick Henry Dr. here in Santa Clara, CA.

The company presently occupies 20,000 square feet at 155 Moffett Park Dr. in Sunnyvale, CA. It is expanding the size of its Silicon Valley offices and adding new employees to “accommodate its rapid business growth.”

The company will occupy the majority of the one-story, 82,278 SF office building. Rick Pearson of Cresa Los Angeles and Joe Brady of Cresa San Jose represented DDN. Michael Charney of Cresa San Jose will oversee project management activities for the company, which plans to complete its move in by August 2013.

According to Pearson, the company was attracted to the building's large floor plate, convenient location, and well-manicured landscape.

“As our company continues to grow, we recognize how important it is to have an optimal location for recruiting and retaining top talent,” says Dani Kenison, senior director, corporate communications for DDN. “Our new, spacious location in Santa Clara will provide a comfortable and collaborative work environment for our employees, as well as room for future expansion.”

The landlord, Four Corners Properties, was represented by Erik Hallgrimson of Cassidy Turley.
