IRVINE, CA-Auction.com , the nation's leading online real estate marketplace, has been recognized by The 11th Annual American Business Awards, known as the Stevie Awards, for leading a revolution in how buyers, sellers and agents transact residential real estate.
Auction.com received a Bronze Stevie as the Most Innovative Company of the Year (Up to 2,500 employees) and second Bronze Stevie for Business Innovation of the Year - Consumer Services Industries. The awards, which were announced this week at an awards ceremony on Chicago, were open to all industries and companies, not just real estate and technology.
Auction.com was recognized for the launch of its consumer-to-consumer platform in 2012 and subsequent success in bringing buyers and sellers together in a highly competitive and transparent process. The company's extensive marketing program and online platform, which attract pools of qualified buyers, allow all parties to benefit from a timely sale that sets a new fair market value.
“Auction.com is proud to be recognized alongside such consumer technology brands as Apple and Dropbox,” said Auction.com senior vice president Jennifer Leuer. “Technology and e-commerce are a way of life for all successful businesses and our industry is no exception. Our success has come from not only recognizing new trends, but leading the technology revolution in real estate.”
Auction.com has also been named as a finalist in the Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year category, which will be awarded September 16 in San Francisco. As a result of Auction.com's nomination, the company is automatically included in voting for the People's Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite New Products. Voting is open to the general public beginning July 7 and winners will be announced the San Francisco awards ceremony.
The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide. They are judged by more than 200 executives nationwide.
