PETALUMA, CA-On the heels of revealing a 100% occupancy at Fountaingrove Executive Center in Santa Rosa, CA, Basin Street Properties has signed brand presence management company Brandle Inc. to its Waterfront Office Building in Petaluma's Theatre District. And according to Brandle Inc., the Petaluma area is a tech hub.

According to founder and CEO, Chip Roberson, “The choice to house the Brandle offices in Petaluma was certainly an intentional one.” He says that “The area continues to be seen as the tech hub of the North Bay and provides the lifestyle we were seeking, while still allowing easy access to San Francisco and beyond.”

Another factor for the lease is due to the firm's relationship with Basin Street. “We're also very excited about the various amenities that come with working with Basin Street.”

One such amenity he is referring to is Basin Street's Tenant Advantage Program that was launched last year. The program offers exclusive discounts and promotions—typically 10% to 20% off retail goods and services—within Basin Street's retail, residential and hospitality properties, as well as at partnering businesses. There is no cost to participate in TAP and the program extends to all tenants and retailers where the company owns property.

“Basin Street has a rich history of bringing technology companies, most recently Enphase Energy, to the North Bay and working with them through substantial growth,” explains Scott Stranzl, vice president of leasing for Basin Street Properties, in a prepared statement. “Petaluma really is the ideal location for companies when it comes to employment opportunities, as well as lifestyle.”

Brandle signed a 2,200-square-foot lease for a three-year term at the Waterfront Office Building. The Waterfront Office Building is a three-story, 50,755-square-foot class A office building located in the vibrant downtown Petaluma Theatre District. The building boasts convenient access to Highway 101, free and abundant parking, on-site lockers and showers and is adjacent to the Petaluma River, according to a release.

Basin Street is represented by Tony Sarno and Sean Heaton of Cushman & Wakefield in leasing the Waterfront Office Building.

Basin Street tells GlobeSt.com that the building is currently 78% occupied and that the lease value of the space is $200,000.
