NEW YORK CITY-Cassidy Turley announced Monday it has won the exclusive leasing, property management and project management assignment for 135 West 50th St., an 862,000-square-foot building owned by an investor account advised by UBS Global Asset Management. The property, adjacent to Rockefeller Center, is located between Avenue of the Americas and Seventh Avenue.
Led by Craig Evans, senior managing director, the 135 West 50th St. leasing team is comprised of David Hoffman, Jr., executive managing director and principal; Whitnee Williams, associate vice president; and Theodora Livadiotis, associate vice president. Jack Terranova, SVP and principal, will lead property management while Joseph Yacovone, senior managing director, will provide project management services.
Leasing and management previously were handled by Murray Hill Properties, a spokeswoman tells GlobeSt.com. The company is reportedly reducing its provider relationships on a national basis.
Cassidy Turley has a significant and growing national relationship with UBS, according to the announcement. More specifically, the spokeswoman says, CT was tapped to market 53 State St., a 1.2 million square foot trophy CBD office building in Boston, in early 2012. Other properties are located in Chicago, Charlotte and Tampa.
“By utilizing a creative and integrated team, Cassidy Turley is providing UBS with premiere leasing, management and project management services all under one roof,” Evans says in the release.
“The property has performed well since its acquisition in 2006, and we expect that Cassidy Turley's client service excellence will contribute to the property's continued success,” says Stuart Feinberg, executive director, US real estate business, UBS Global Asset Management, in the announcement.
Built in 1963, the property attracts media, entertainment and finance tenants, the announcement states, including Time Inc., NBC Universal, Marvel Entertainment, Nintendo of America, Fareportal, Alliance Bernstein, Mizuho Trust & Banking and WeiserMazars. Bobby Van's Grill and Duke Cafe are among the ground floor tenants.
