PHOENIX—Work has wrapped up on Mountain Ranch Medical Commons, one of the latest facilities under the Banner Health Center group. Irgens developed the state-of-the-art, 13,000-square-foot class A medical office facility, located just north of Estrella Parkway at Cotton Lane in Estrella, a mixed-use, master-planned community in Goodyear, AZ.
The facility, says Irgens vice president Jason Anzalone, “is the most recent third-party medical office building project in the Phoenix metro area. As we continue to expand our healthcare real estate development portfolio in the Valley, we are proud to be a part of bringing top-tier medical care to area residents.”
Banner will provide primary care medical services, as well as complimentary specialty care, to the community out of the facility. The growth of the Estrella community prompted its developer to seek out a provider that could offer healthcare services to the residential population. According to the company, Irgens researched the local healthcare market to determine both the immediate and future needs of the community by consulting directly with Banner to strategize and determine the best operational model that would benefit Estrella residents. Irgens then secured the first third-party, ground-up lease in more than five years with Banner Health, a leading health system in greater Phoenix.
Architect 33 North designed the facility, which offers efficient, custom-designed medical space, upscale amenities and a design that conforms to standards of the Green Building Initiative.
