CHICAGO—The online insurance broker insureon has had a big year. Just one year ago, the firm was making do with just 1,500-square-feet of office space. Now, however, insureon has signed a lease for a 10,315-square-feet headquarters at 30 N. LaSalle St. on the 25th floor. The company now provides an array of insurance products online including general liability, cyber liability, employment practices liability, workers compensation, and many others, to over 30,000 small businesses.

“Insureon's growth is a by-product of our commitment to serving our small-business customers,” says Ted Devine, insureon's CEO. “By focusing on developing and delivering insurance that specifically meets diverse needs across industries, insureon is eliminating some of the uncertainties that plague small- and micro-business owners, allowing them to better plan for growth in their own businesses.”

Jock Howland and Dan Maslauski from Jones Lang LaSalle represented insureon in the negotiations. The owner, New York-based Tishman Speyer Properties, was self-represented by Vicki Noonan and Greg Tait.
