KINGSVILLE, TX—Kingsville Plaza, a 21,250-square-foot retail center here, has changed hands in a deal brokered by Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.
Chad Knibbe, senior associate; Bethany Babcock, associate; Preet Sabharwal, senior associate; and Britt Raymond, associate, in Marcus & Millichap's San Antonio and Manhattan offices, listed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, whose identity was not disclosed, intends to add value to the 13-year-old asset by improving the occupancy and enhancing returns.
Located at 2730 S. Brahma Blvd., the center features such tenants as Cato and the Shoe Department and is located outside of Walmart, which drives heavy traffic to the center. According to Marcus & Millichap, several investors were attracted to the asset but it was ultimately acquired by a Texas-based investor familiar with the submarket.
