NEW YORK CITY-Silvershore Properties has revealed EXCLUSIVELY to GlobeSt.com that it has purchased four buildings—in separate transactions—over the last three months in prime Brooklyn neighborhoods. The company, which owns 30 buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn, plans to renovate and reposition the properties.
“We are actively pursuing all opportunities in these neighborhoods,” says Jason Silverstein, co-principal of Silvershore Properties.
The newly acquired properties include: 115 Atlantic Ave. in Brooklyn Heights, for $2 million, and 32 Garnet St. in Carroll Gardens, for $1.2 million. Both transactions closed in June. This spring, Silvershore also closed on 278 Dean St. in Boerum Hill, for $1.3 million, and 219 13th St. in Park Slope for $5.25 million.
The building on Atlantic Avenue is a four-story, 5,000-square-foot building with a duplex apartment, additional full-floor apartment and ground floor retail. This was the first sale of the building in almost 40 years.
The property on Garnet Street is a four-story, eight-unit building with 5,000 square feet. The Dean Street building is an 8,000-square-foot four-story building with eight units, while 219 13th St. is a 22,000-square-foot six-story building with 25 units.
