WASHINGTON, DC-Metro has reworked a development agreement for its Takoma station and is now looking to have more than 200 condo units built there instead of about 90 townhomes.

The change in plan came after complaints from the community about how the townhome plan would hinder access to the station, according to the Washington Post.

The Metro Board selected EYA of Bethesda, in 2000, and again in 2007, to build town homes on the site with new parking and bus bays for the transit service. The board is expected to review the new plan today and could vote on it on July 25. See story in the Washington Post.
