CARSON, CA- Brentwood Originals, an importer, manufacturer and retail distributor of decorative pillows and related home lifestyle products, has signed a six-year lease agreement with the Prologis South Bay Distribution Center. Brentwood will pay $5.6 million to occupy a 150,000-square-foot warehousing and distribution facility.
The deal marks an expansion of Brentwood's Southern California presence, which now takes over 350,000 square feet of space. Colliers International SEVP Steve Calhoun, based in the firm's City of Commerce office, and SEVP Dave Drummond, based in the Colliers South Bay office, represented Brentwood Originals in the transaction. CBRE represented Prologis.
Brentwood's newest Southern California facility is a modern, concrete tilt-up structure that includes dock-high and ground-level loading and a large, secure truck yard. The center is located at 20642 S. Fordyce Ave.
In addition to its staple of decorative pillows, Brentwood Originals manufactures and supplies window treatments, throws, chair pads and a wide variety of outdoor UV-resistant pillows, cushions and pads. Brentwood services major retailers throughout the nation from two other strategic warehousing and distribution centers in Youngstown, OH. and Walls, MS.
As previously reported by GlobeSt.com, outer space and baked food recently combined to take on two big warehouse leases in the South Bay.
