LOS ANGELES-A $53-million mixed-use complex at 1111 Wilshire Blvd. has just opened in the downtown area. It will target urban professionals and offers close to 8,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.

The 1111 Wilshire Blvd. property is in the Center City West area at the corner of Bixel St. The site is a former parking lot for an adjacent medical office building. No ground-floor retailers have been selected, but the building has started renting its 210 units, which range from 397-square-foot studios renting for $1,500 per month to 1,316-square-foot, three-bedroom units offered at $3,400.
