MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ-The Philadelphia-based structural engineering firm O'Donnell & Naccarato has opened an office here. Paul Panzarino was hired as principal to build and lead a team serving clients in the Northeast.
O'Donnell & Naccarato will provide structural design for new buildings, renovations, historic preservation work, and façade and parking garage assessment and restoration.
“Our firm has completed many significant projects in New York, Northern New Jersey, and Connecticut,” said company president, Nick Cinalli. He said having an office in the area would benefit clients.
Last spring, the executives of one of the most prominent New Jersey firms, Birdsall Services Group, were indicted for pay-to-play political donations. The company subsequently filed for bankruptcy.
In June, Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. acquired most of the bankrupt firm's assets as part of an expansion move in the tri-state area. Partner acquired Birdsall's Monmouth County office, various contracts, files and license agreements. Also, Partner retained most of Birdsall's staff.
