HOUSTON-Wood Partners has started construction on Alta Westheimer, a 133-unit luxury apartment building on three acres located at 9235 Westheimer Road in Houston. The 119,000-square-foot apartment building is expected to be open for leasing in April 2014.

The apartment community, designed by Good, Fulton & Farrell, will house 15 studios, 84 one-bedroom units and 34 two-bedroom units, with 188 parking spaces. Luxury finishes will include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, subway tile backsplashes, vinyl plank flooring and washers and dryers. Residents will have access to a clubroom, fitness center, outdoor kitchen area and pool. Select floorplans will include garages. Wireless connectivity and the latest in audio/visual technology will be available in all common areas.
