Ackerman Promoted to HSM Head of Retail

HOUSTON-Henry S. Miller Brokerage veteran Shawn Ackerman heads up the Houston retail division.

HOUSTON-Long-term Henry S. Miller Brokerage executive Shawn Ackerman has been promoted to the position of president of the company’s Greater Houston Retail Division. Since joining the company in 2001, Ackerman has helped build the retail division’s sales and landlord/tenant representation services, and in the new position, he says his goal for the Houston office is to increase the number of brokers at a “smart pace.”

“Shawn has been with us for a long time and has excelled within the local Houston retail marketplace as well as the national retail market,” says Sam Kartalis, Henry S. Miller Realty Services president and COO. “He has been very active with tenants locally and nationally and is very involved with the ICSC organization as well.  We are proud of his retail excellence and this promotion is well deserved.”
